I decided to rewrite this blog, because I want to take the IELTS tests for immigrating to Australia.

So I wish I could write some words every day, and I will try my best to avoid making mistakes and using more new words. By the way, every morning when I take the bus to work, I listen the BBC learning English. I like this web program, especially the News review and 6 minute English. They teach me many new words from news headlines.

Today is Sunday, but I should get to work. now I am on the metro, because I got up late this morning🥹. After the seven-days-vacation, I feel so tired, just like I don't have the vacation. I don't like having a long vacation and after that, I have to continue working seven or eight days.

Today I lost a badge, which my wife bought for me. It is a green plastic round badge, about five centimeters in diameter, which says the voice of April. The badge is not expencevice, but I am so precious of it. It is a evidence of lockdown during the prondemace in China, people say no to Chinese goverment.

It rained those days, the city where I am living always rains in autumn, the temperature has been lower and lower. Last night, my wife, my parents in law and I had a hot pot for dinner. It was a buffet hot pot, so we ate many plates of beef and some vegetables. I like this hot pot, it is a half-half hot pot, half of the pot is a spicy soup, and the other is mushroom soup. Hot pots are present in countries all around the world, it's very suitable for the cool weather😆.

Today is Wednesday, the good news is that long working week has passed a half, the bad thing is Wednesday is not easy to spell right😆, I often forget the n or d,and add a n after first e. After learning with Youtube, I know the reason of this is my pronunciation, if you can't pronounce right, and I suddenly notice that the pronounce is different of pronunciation🤔🤔.

I fell asleep very early last night. I often go to bed at 1 o'clock at midnight. It's often too late for many people, but I have to review my registered structural engineer test. It's the hardest registered civil engineering test in China. If you pass it, you are a top level engineer. 

I had prepared for this test for over two years. This is the third year I have taken it. The test includes action on structure, design of concrete structures, design of  steel structures, design of timber structures, design of foundation and pile, design of composite steel and concrete structures, design of earthquake resistance and design of bridge.

Over forty-eight standard codes you should know well, and more than five handbooks you should have. Of course, the test allows you to take them in. You should answer eighty questions with solving steps in eight hours, four hours in the morning, and four in the afternoon. If you got more than forty-eight points in the test, congratulations, you will pass the test!

Thanks very much, it's Friday, this long long working week has almost gone.Last week I will go on a business trip. It will take two or three days. I often make short business trips, usually driving by myself or taking the train. I'm not really like to go on a business trip, sometimes it's not necessary, you spend one day on the road, take a meeting just for one or two hours, why should we do this online? Sometimes you have to go to some place where your object is, then make sure your design is correct. This are little of my business trips routine🤣.

After writing a week, I find I can write more frequently. If I want to describe something which I don't know, I will try to use other simple words and sentences. My bullseye is making fewer mistakes and reviewing more vocabulary. Next week I will focus on grammar and tense, which I know is difficult.

How was your weekend? I had a perfect weekend! Even though today is Monday, I don't like Monday as Garfied either, but this morning when I woke up, I felt full of energy.  

I had run five kilometers with my wife in Saturday morning, after lunch, I revised my register engineer test untill night. It spent all of my engery, so when I played video game with my wife, I even falt asleep in the sofa😮‍💨! By the way, the Zealed is a very exciting game! 

I usually go to the gym at Sunnday morning, aboat once or twice every week. I often do fitness exercises with equipment, after that, I do thirty minutes aerobics. Sunnday my wife, my perestents in law and drived out to the countryside.

I should have had a two-day business trip, but it was canceled at the last minute. Last night my boss and I had been drunk with proprietors. I'm not sure this word is adjusted.

Because I shouldn't go to the company on time, after I got up, I claimed the steps for thirty minutes of aerobics.

I went to bed at eleven o'clock last night, which was earlier than the normal time that I slept. But I still feel tired this morning. I think that the tired would be the most words I say when I write this.

Today there are light rain showers. It always rains in autumn in Chengdu. The weather there is different from my hometown, which obviously has four seasons, but Chengdu has a longer summer, and a shorter winter.

I have a lot of work to be finished this week, so I don't want to go on a business trip this week, actrutly, I don't like any business trips.

Last night I didn't review my test, I played Zelda, tears of the kingdom with my wife. This video game is amazing! It's an open world system, you should not play in a fixed way.

This week I will finish a project of bridge design in hainan. There are two days left, including today. I will finish this project independently, all of the work will be done by myself. Now I can complete a bridge design myself, I can decide a bridge plan, I can do the structure calculation and I also have the ability to draw all of the construction drawings. After finishing my register test, I will learn how to use Autodesk civil 3D and Revit to design civil engineering. In China, we use different software to make designs. If I want to work in Australia, I should be better at it.

Last day I forgot my wireless headphone on my office, now I am dressing a old fashion styles headphone, I think I am a cool guy today!🌚🌚🌚

Thanks very much. It is Friday today. There are less than two weeks before my test. I think I am not ready for it. It concerns me more. I can't pay my whole attention to one thing, I am worried that I won't finish work on time, and yesterday, I found some mistakes in the design! When I am working, I can't stop thinking about my test. I need a way to balance work, tests and rest.

The good news is I write more fluently. I can write more quickly, use more words and make less mistakes. I try hard to use new words I learned from BBC and news in my writing. When I read more English, I find the news headlines are hard to understand usually, because the headlines often use native words.

This weekend I will review my test. I want to do more practice questions.

I didn't go to the office this morning, because I went on a short business trip to YiBin today. The one-day short trip was fun. I took the high-speed rail from Chengdu to YiBin, which only cost one and a half hours. 

There was a bridge fixed project, in which I needed to fix a steel bridge. That bridge is a steel arch girder combine structure, a continue grider add a arch on it. The main structure doesn't have problem, but the surface of the arch had rusted some places.

My job is mainly to descie how to fix these rusts safly and how much it will be cast.

There was a bad news, when I got home last night, I found my little turtle had death😮‍💨. It looked like to be into a hibernation, but it did not. It didn't eat and active less these days, I thought it was perparing for hibernation. But the temperay is not low like the turtle should be into hiberniation. I even dreamed it alive aginer.

My middle school classmate and his wife have a conneting filght to Austrila in ChengDu tonight, so we have a chance to meet. We have not met more than six or sevev years. The last time when I met him was he gone to the Austrila to colloage, now he has immigrated to there.

It seems like I can spell right seven days of a week. 

Last night I met with my classmate. He suggested that I should take part in the PTE test, not the IELTS. I need to get above six points in the test, and then I will apply for a skills assessments for immigration.

It's a long way to go. Let me do step by step.

My wife buied a new earbuds, which is the Sennhersei, my favorite headphone company🤩. I'm using it lisitening BBC and light music now.

This earbud is a input-ears headphone, and it doesn' t use active noise cancelltion. The sound from this earbud is cleaning and pure, you can distinguish where is the piano playing and the other musical instruments. But when you wear it, you can not hear the sounds around, it is a little unsafe for walking and biking

Today I will write a little, because I have no time to listen to BBC radio. Writing is good, I can feel my English skills improving a level these days. Google docs is also a good tool for writing, too. I use it to correct the basic mistakes. Before I blog, I use translation software to translate my English writings to Chinese. I think it can help me to find out some logical mistakes.

Nowadays, you can use many tools to help you learn something which you want. If there are no gfw, I can learn more.

Happy November! I hope I get the right spelling of it. I had a business trip with my boss yesterday and Tuesday this week, so I had to pause writing for two days. I will take a test this weekend, but I feel I am not ready for it. Last week I was so concerned about it, but now I am getting ready for the next test.

I discussed with a few friends about my plan to immigration, I know many people think that it's a funny idea. Now I am so concerned about it.

I have not written for over fourteen days. Last week, I had a four day business trip. I had to drive, so I had no time to write. I finished my regist test, but it was not good. I knew that I could not pass the test again, it was so upsetting for me. I had taken this test for the third time, including this time.

Now I have begun to prepare for the PTE test. I hope I can take this test in December. After the test, I have many things to do.
